More about me
I am an enthusiastic, friendly and hard working female. I am not afraid to take big challenges and risks, find quick but also effective solution to these challanges. I preffer to learn and extend my knowladge day in and out and challange myself in the process. I am very easy to communicate with and talking to people that I have never met before is not a challenge for me. While trying to achieve my goals whether its an assignment that is due in university or a new task at work I prefer to work with colleges and come up with ideas together because in my mind teamwork leads to stronger ideas and more solid solutions that can be achieved quicker and more efficiently rather than working on my own, which I could consider one of the weaknesses I have, but that has never stopped me.if a task has to be done on my own time and terms it will be done just in that way.
While working with Benugo i started as a team member, and worked my way up to a team leader position in the course of 7 months this included learning how to deal with a responsibility of looking after a team, how to control stock, do finances after closing down, keep books for inspection, make sure that customers are being served effectively and quickly which is a benugo moto the 60 second rule. Managing a team thought me how to communicate in a manner of a leader but still being an understanding colleague. Controlling stock allowed me to have a better understanding of how orders happen and how to manage stock in a busy environment. Financial responsibility was the toughest to overcome in the beginning I did not trust myself and every single time I questioned if I can get this done but as the time went on I got more organized and more trusty towards myself.
Benugo is a high-class cafe located in central London. I started as a team member and worked over 3 different locations weekly which meant I had to commute using London public transport which thought me a great deal of how to organize my time and how to plan my time effectively leaving me enough time to prep for my work, also communicating with my colleagues about different shifts and time changes. Working in a high-class cafe thought me how to communicate with people from different countries and backgrounds.
After gaining some working experience I was able to successfully find a part-time job. This was my first waitress position and I was lacking major skills in customer service but while working at Bombay burrito I have gained a new set of skills such as how to communicate with all kind of customers, how to work under time pressure, and how to work under lunch break hour queue. I have discovered a whole new customer service world and I was amazed at how interesting all of it was from making and delivering the food, to learning all about finances in the restaurant business. This was the place where I learned it all.
Valence Avenue GP
In this place, I completed my short practical experience before my GCSE exams in high school. I was working with a GP every day and assisted him with his patients taking their history which allowed me to learn on how patient information is kept and organized within NHS. I have gained quite a lot of experience in this place on how to communicate correctly with patients, and which questions to ask in order to help the GP to understand the intent of their appointment. While working here I have learned how NHS services work and why they are important.
